Sorry to break in with what is, I suppose, an irrelevant comment, or rather, question. I have read a comment of yours about Stanley Morison hating the "changes"; is there any written evidence for this ? I am a great admirer of Morison's and would love to know more about Morsion and the Liturgy. Thank you very much.
Apologies for the very slow reply. I am afraid I only check comments here about once a year! I have been asked about this recently, and found that I couldn't provide a reference. I formed that impression from something I read years ago - probably either Barker's biography of Morison, or the autobiography of his friend Tom Burns - but I don't have either book to hand. His love of Gregorian chant is mentioned in various places.
